Heather's Favorite Lip Product(s)
As a busy business owner, hairstylist caregiver and mother, Heather has little to no time to fuss with complicated and drawn out procedures. So when her favorite AVEDA lip color was discontinued, the only tried and true stand-by color she could reach for was the Pure Nourish-Mint Lipstick in Sutra, a riche coral tone that suits all skin tones and occasions. It makes her look and feel fresh, sunny and timeless with only a single swipe on each lip. With such a simple application and high impact, she isn't too upset that her pervious favorite color is no longer available.
Maybelyn's Favorite Lip Product(s)
Those that prefer more skin than
makeup, here is a favorite colorless combo by one of our estheticians. Focusing on hydration and a natural look, the Pure Nourish-Mint Lip Treatment and Pure Nourish-Mint Lip Primer. The Lip Treatment contains capuacu fruit butter and kukui nut oil for smoothness and hydration while the Lip Primer contains jojoba oil, candelilla and carnauba waxes for a cushion like base. Worn alone or under your your favorite lip product, this combo will give you a fresh supple lip.
Tisha's Favorite Lip Product(s)
Color is no stranger to Tisha and this lip combo is no exception. Matching her bold colorful stylistic aesthetic, the Nourishing Lip Liner in Currant layered under Pure Nourish-Mint Liquid Color Balm in Snapdragon compliments her fashion sense and her skin tone beautifully. She loves the vibrancy and opacity of this combo which brightens her complexion and adds a touch of glamour. There is a lot of pigment in the Aveda lip products so you can wear them at full opacity or a shearer version, either way, you're bound to turn some heads. Line your lips with Currant then blend some in towards the center of the lip, leaving most of the lip uncovered. Then swipe Snapdragon onto the lips; concentrating most of the color in the center.
Oliver's Favorite Lip Product(s)
As a Makeup Artist, Oliver has seen many lip combos in his career. But his favorite lip look are an enhanced neutral/nude lip. Each skin tone is different so this is his combo for someone with a medium olive skin tone like himself. After scrubbing the lips for smoothness and letting the Pure Nourish-Mint Lip Treatment absorb for hydration, he blots off excess Lip Treatment then lines and fills the entire lip with Nourishing Lip Liner in Loomi. His lips are "thin" so he draws outside of the natural lip shape to create a fuller look. Lastly, he paints Pure Nourish-Mint Liquid Color Balm in Desert Blossom over the lips. The slightly warm tones of Loomi brighten up the cooler neutral tones of Desert Blossom creating a neutral lip color for olive skin tones. Great for everyday errands or special occasions. Either way, it looks effortless and attractive. (A warmer toned alternative would be Liquid Color Balm in Camellia Rose.)
Your Favorite Lip Product/Combo is...
Heather's SUTRA
Maybelyn's LIP TREATMENT and COLORLESS LIP PRIMER
Tisha's CURRANT and SNAPDRAGON
